UTA to Hold Public Hearing On South Davis Transit Study
02/26/2010

What:
Utah Transit Authority will host a public hearing on the South Davis Transit Corridor Project. This meeting will provide the public with an opportunity to learn about and provide comment on the Draft Environmental Study Report (DESR) for a proposed streetcar line that would connect south Davis County to downtown Salt Lake City.

When:

Tuesday, Mar. 2, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Centerville Junior High
625 South Main Street, Centerville

Info:
The South Davis transit corridor DESR reviews the potential environmental impacts of constructing a streetcar line in south Davis County and Salt Lake City. The 12-mile line would connect with the UTA TRAX system at 400 West and South Temple in Salt Lake City, and travel along US Highway 89/Beck Street through North Salt Lake and into downtown Bountiful on Main Street, terminating near Center Street and Main in Centerville. The study is available for public review and comment until Mar. 16, 2010.
